Planning for your Marketing success

Put together an outline plan of what you need to do to achieve the success for which you strive. It can be a list to begin with, a check list of everything you have to do, including such things as knowledge gaps you nee to fill, skills you need to acquire, and weaknesses you must address to guarantee long term success. Set yourself a sensible timetable, breaking your ultimate success down into appropriate stages, that make it easier for you to monitor your progress.

It is useful to learn from others who have gone for the same goal, and see how long it took them, and what their difficulties and setbacks were.that will help you to be better prepared than they were for dealing with problems along the way.

If you know how to do network and critical path analysis, then do so to help get your plan on a realistic basis, with correct priorities for each action and phase.

Monitor your Progress.

Monitoring your progress against the plan is vital. You may think you are doing well, when in fact you have omitted something critical or are far behind in a crucial task. Your plan is not set in stone: as part of your monitoring process, revise your plan to fill in the gaps and revise priorities. You will be learning all the time, so as you proceed your planing will become more and more accurate. Be critical with yourself, you are getting closer to your goal. Ask yourself if there are any obstructions to your ultimate success.

Determine where you are letting yourself down, and decide what to do about it.

Then add your new actions to your plan.

It's like a Trek into an unknown Wilderness,

requiring various level of planning, acquiring knowledge, building confidence and determination, an ability to focus, and many other crucial characteristics of great pioneering adventurers.

The type of success that you are seeking may be very different to being the first to climb Mt. Everest, but it is as well that you bear such an adventure in mind as you steer your way to your chosen destiny. Whatever it is, take small steps. Here is one possible approach to achieving success through taking eight steps. Here are the first four Steps.

Success Step 1 -SWOT Analysis

Carry out a SWOT analysis of your self, that is, analyse your personal strengths and weaknesses, your opportunities and threats. Using SWOT analysis is a business tool that is easy to apply to you. To show you really mean business, ask friends, family and colleagues to check it out for you. There is no point in deluding yourself, and you could learn some very useful things that will aid your success. Now if you are unfamiliar with SWOT analysis, just Google it, because I am not going to get into details today.

Success Step 2 - Check List of What is Needed to Succeed

Now that you have a broad idea of your strengths and weakness, you should check them against what is needed to achieve success in your chosen field. What is needed can include personal characteristics such as persistence, determination, and ability to listen and deal with setbacks.

Success Step 3 -Discuss With Those Close to You

Having taken stock of what is required to succeed in your chosen route, discuss it with anyone close to you who will be affected by your efforts. Remember, it is better to have strong support from those closest to you, especially if their lifestyle may be affected by your ambitions.

Success Step4- Make a Final Decision to Persue Your Dream and Set Firm Objectives

Having gone through the assessment stages, and cleared everything with those who are very close to you, it is finally decision time. Are you going to for success, or holding back? If you have decided to go for your chosen success, then set yourself some firm objectives, or even just one objective: your own Mt. Everest if you like.

Just because your retired...

Doesn't mean your over the hill, take me, I'm 73 and still going strong. I find the Home Business an fascinating way to keep my senses alert and busy. I find that I get great pleasure of increasing my income from my home and don't have to drive to the office and face all the Traffic. I face challenges every day and learn new technologies. Besides getting to meet new people every day, I never feel lonely, because there is all ways another friend to meet. It's a Jungle out there, do you know where to go?

The biggest obstacle in finding your way in Internet Marketing, is knowing where to go,

which Business Opportunity is honest and which isn't.

1. Write down a business plan.

How are your finances? Is your budget able to handle the expenses this new business?

When checking on business opportunity, find out what other expenses besides the sign-up.

2. What is the monthly cost of the marketing system. will you be provided your personal Web-site or will it be a replicated Site( that means you place your domain name over the Company Site), not a good thing, if your advertising on Google with one of these sites, your Company will get the advertising credit not you. Google can tell if it is a replicated site.

3. Check out if the company provides leads, or where can you get good leads.

A good way to get free leads is by blogging on google, however you need to learn how to.

As an Example, the program I'm currently signed up with, provides excellent training, which got me to the top of several google pages in 1 Week. I'm having great results.

4. Be prepared to do some selling, which is the purpose of starting a Home Business. You will have to talk to your Customers, check on a training program, such as script training.

Many Offers state, it's easy, no selling, fully automated, be wary of those offers.

There is no free lunch, if you want to be successful, you will have to work, period.

5. I find a Toll Free Number very helpful, it's inexpensive and you always know when a

Sometimes you can't see the Forest because of the Trees.

As a 73 Year young Person I can understand all the Challenges you face every day. But hiding out is just a wast of time.
As a retired person and on a budget, there is not fun in just living.

Now that you started your own business

Make sure you have a schedule in place. You'll need a quiet place where you can concentrate on your work. The papers on your desk might overwhelm you, so get some file folders and keep everything sorted.
Keep a note pad with all you Log-in info and Passwords, Phone numbers, Account Numbers etc.
For your leads, I find placing them in file-folders by dates.
Keep one folder for prospects that are ready to start.
It also helps to get a 800 Number, to make it easier for people on a budget.
Be sure to add a file for all your expenses for tax time.
I had a hard time with all this and really have to thank my sponsor for leading me in the right direction.
Having bee here a few month, I can say honestly I'm happy to be here, and I'm doing well.
I had a few set-backs as you probably will experience too, but take Heart, the only way to fail in this business is to quit.
More people quit just when they are at the point of winning success.

You decided to go into business, what is you next thought.
How do I find the right opportunity for me? Do I have enough time to do this? Can I learn this? Will there be someone to help me.
My Answer: Sit down and write out a business plan. Check out your financial situation. Do you have the funds to commit for several month?
Most programs require training seminars ore classes to learn the how the system works and about the product you will be selling.
Do you have the time for classes and Phone time?
When choosing a program, check on all the costs that are involved, not just the sign up fee.

Homebased Business versus a Job

Going into a Home business is very different from going to a job every day. It takes discipline to go to your computer and stay there . Especially when you have a lot of distractions going on all around you. You will need to set a work schedule that includes breaks. Certain hours for making calls, training, advertising. Be sure you allow for exercising and eating.
I find that when I'm working on the computer, the time fly's
and I forget to eat. Also be sure you take some days off, like Saturday and Sunday. I used to work seven days a week, but now I find I need to recharge to do my best work.

The best way to start a home based business is research. Check out several different Opportunities.
Find out in each one:
Whats the start up cost. How much is the system every Month, can be from $20 to $ 100 per Month or more.
Are there any pass-up sales( sales you have to give to your sponsor, before you make any Money) varies up to 6 pass-ups.
What kind of training is available ( live training , Cd's or coaching?
What kind of support will you get, can you contact your leaders?
Where do the leads come from? Purchased, Google ads, or from somewhere else.
Is there any residual income and how does it works?
How do you get paid?
These are just some of the question to asked before spending a lot of money.
